Without the invaluable support from our incredible volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to do the things we do for LGBTQ+ communities across Greater Manchester.
Volunteering is a rewarding experience and a great way to make new friends within the Pride community. And we’ve plenty of amazing perks for you in return, too.
Who can volunteer for Manchester Pride?
Applications are open to absolutely everyone regardless of faith, race, ethnicity, ability, sexuality and gender identity. To volunteer, you must be 16+ but please note that some events or venues maybe 18+ only.

How do I apply to volunteer at the Manchester Pride Festival?
Volunteering over August Bank Holiday weekend means you’ll be right at the heart of Manchester Pride Festival, where we come together to celebrate, protest, fundraise and campaign for LGBTQ+ life.

What roles can I volunteer for at the Manchester Pride Festival?
There are several exciting volunteer roles available for you to try your hand at over the Festival. Examples include:
- Fund raiding bucket collections for the Manchester Pride Community Fund
- Parade Marshall
- Green Volunteer - helping to improve sustainability
- Gallery Stewarding
- Visitor Liaison
